Abraham Fearnley Dobson founded the company in 1917, when he began peddling pots and pans in a wheelbarrow door to door around the streets of Sheffield. Our first premises were situated in the industrial areas of Sheffield around Attercliffe & Darnall and the company has continued in this area from the 1920’s to present day. Abraham Fearnley Dobson was succeeded by his son Harry Dobson and the family business is continued to date by his daughter Carol Dobson and now by her son Jonathan Maycock.

Confidence can be drawn from our successful 90 years of trading, and we look forward to the celebration at our centenary.

Having always sold household goods since the company was founded we now stock just about everything for the home. We hold a wide range of stock that is continually being added to. We cater for all tastes from the traditional to contemporary, and all at an affordable price. We pride ourselves on our excellent service, and give equal importance to making the sale a pleasurable experience from start to finish, including our after sales customer care.
